Tribal war 2: New Village function accel...

Arthas’s gaze fell on the boy who could only be Prince Varian Wrynn. Tall, slender yet but with broad shoulders that promised the slim frame would one day fill out, he looked pale and exhausted. Arthas winced as he regarded the youth, a few years older than he, looking lost, alone, and frightened. When addressed, Varian recovered and gave the polite requisite replies. Terenas was an old hand at knowing how to make people feel comfortable. Quickly he dismissed all but a few courtiers and guards and rose from his throne to greet the visitors. The game has just implemented a...

Skyforge problem ALERT high-level except...

Falric smiled gratefully and bowed deeply in genuine respect, pulling off his gauntlets so the mug would warm his cold hands. Snow threatened, and the sky was a pale gray, but thus far the weather was clear. Arthas leaned against the wall, resting his chin on his folded arms. He looked out over the rolling white hills of Tirisfal, down the road that led through Silverpine Forest to Southshore. The road along which Anduin Lothar, the mage Khadgar, and Prince Varian would be traveling. An exception is provided in Skyforge endgame group encounter, today...

PATH OF EXILE: THE AWAKENING FOUNDER’S P...

Stunned, Arthas turned and faced forward again, his hands gripping Steadfast’s mane. Stormwind! He had never been there, but had heard tales about it. It was a mighty place, with great stone walls and beautiful buildings. It had been built with sturdiness in mind, to withstand the buffeting of the fierce winds from which it had taken its name. To think that it had fallen—who or what could be strong enough to take such a city? Very few of us like Founder’s Packs for games we haven’t even been able to play yet, but Path of Exile is showing that Founder’s Packs can be done...

Blizzard, communication, and how to fix ...

Let’s get the bad out of the way. Best to pull the band-aid off right here and now, and then we can try and be constructive: Blizzard mishandled how it communicates with the player community this expansion. In fact, saying they mishandled it seems charitable, because for the most part they didn’t do it to mishandle it. It was haphazard, with many decisions communicated poorly at best. One need only look at flying — originally Blizzard promised flying would come ‘in the first big content patch‘ only to later announce nope, it isn’t in a way that was both confusing and...

Don’t expect Batman: Arkham Knight to be...

A leaked email, circulated to the people at Kotaku Australia, indicates that the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight won’t be properly fixed for a fair while. Said email was an internal memo for the staff at EB Games stores, and states: “We have stopped sales of Batman: Arkham Knight PC while Warner and Rocksteady work on addressing performance issues with the game. The latest information from Warner is that the updates won’t be available until Spring.” That’s the Australian Spring, so Autumn for everybody in the other hemisphere. There’s little to indicate what date this...
